Located along the Menomonee River between 27th and 37th Streets, Three Bridges Park was once part of a wild rice marsh, then a rail yard, and then a vacant site for decades. It has been transformed into Three Bridges park - a 24-acre park, outdoor science classroom, and a part of the Hank Aaron State Trail.
Volunteers can make a lasting impact by planting 115 trees in Three Bridges Park with trees donated through a partnership with the Harley-Davidson Motor Company's Renew the Ride program. Renew the Ride is the Harley-Davidson community's commitment to preserving and renewing the world we live and ride in. As part of this initiative, they are aiming to plant 50 million trees around the globe!
Three Bridges Park features:
- Two miles of accessible biking and walking trails
- River access for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking
- 42 community gardens
- Three bike/pedestrian bridges
